I'm a first-generation Cuban-Honduran American. At 4 years old, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. I grew up in a household led by my single mother and grandmother — people who worked incredibly hard, and yet things didn't always go our way. That environment made me stubborn in the best possible way: I refuse to take no for an answer.

Many of you are parents working to build a better future for your kids. Well, back then — I was that kid. Now it's my responsibility to help every family who works so hard, to do so with intention and strategy, so they reach their goals faster.

Before starting Novum Nivel, I spent over four years at U.S. Bank — starting as a banker with a clear mission to educate my community. I joined mentorship programs in business banking and wealth management, got involved in Latino community initiatives, and at just 24, I became a branch manager. But I realized: I was growing professionally while moving further away from the real impact I wanted to create.
